What to back up?

I've always been pretty lucky when it comes to backups at places I've
worked at. Either the backups are already set up, or I have to set them up
but I'm backing up to gigantic multi TB tape libraries.

This time, I have my own tape library, an L9 with LTO tapes and 900 GB of
storage. In the interest of saving money on tapes (which are about $100
each) I want to back up the bare minimum when it comes to OS files.

I'm mirroring root drives with disksuite, so if there's a catastrophic
failure (# rm -rf /.*) I'll have to reinstall the OS anyway to get to the
point that I can reinstall veritas net backup to start restoring data.

My question is, what files do you recommend backing up in my minimal OS
backup? I've picked the obvious ones like /etc/passwd and shadow and
vfstab and system, in case they get accidentally deleted. I've also
included all of /var, and the user home directories.

Can you think of anything else I'll want to back up?

This is solaris 8/sparc btw.

Thanks, and I will summarize
