Hello--

I am running a NIS+ server on a Sun Fire V240 server running Solaris9 (path
bundle117171-05)

I'm trying to change the shell environment for a NIS+ user using the
following command:

# passwd -r nisplus -e user1
Enter root's password:
Old shell: /bin/tcsh
New shell: /bin/bash
passwd: password information changed for user1

It tmake the shell change, but when I try and re-login as this user , it
get the following:

SunOS 5.9

login: user1
Password:
Login incorrect
login: user1
Password:
Login incorrect

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
