Hi Gurus - I apologize in advance for the off-topic message - I did search the
archive and found nothing on this.
We are about to plan a data center move and we have about (75) Sun servers and
also a nice quantity of AS/400, RS/6000 and HP-UX. We need a few pointers:
1) Are there any service providers that you would recommend that SPECIALIZE in
this type of service?
2) Are there any HW resellers that offer short-term rentals on this type of
enterprise equipment?
3) Does anyone have any experience with this type of project - any
feedback/pitfalls?
We are looking to do the move by the end of Q1 and would appreciate any candid
feedback. I will summarize for everyone.
P.S. If anyone knows a better forum, blog, etc that would be more appropriate
for this type of question, please feel free to reply with that as well.
