Gurus,

I was getting this following error when encapsulating
the boot-device:

***********************************************
Volume Manager: Partitioning c3t0d0 as an
encapsulated disk.
/dev/dsk/c3t0d0s1 was dump device --
invoking dumpadm(1M) -d swap to select new dump device
vxvm:vxedvtoc: TO FIX: Usage: vxedvtoc -f <filename>
<devicename>

  The partitioning of c3t0d0 failed.

  The following disks failed encapsulation:
c3t0d0
Hit RETURN to continue.

You can either continue now, or reverse all changes
the Volume Manager
  has made during this reconfiguration.

Undo changes made during partition phase [y,n,q,?]
(default: n) y

  undo c3t0d0....

Changes made during the partition phase were
undone...
*****************************************************

I chose to undo the changes and when I logged in to
the server, the dumpadm command was showing that s1 is
swap instead of dedicated.

# dumpadm
      Dump content: kernel pages
       Dump device: /dev/dsk/c3t0d0s1 (swap)
Savecore directory: /var/crash/sam
  Savecore enabled: yes
#

Please advise.

Thanks,
Sunsa
