"ring buffer overflow" on Fire V120

I have the exact same problem as "Moxie" who posted this mail
http://www.blacksheepnetworks.com/security/resources/sunman/6021.html in
November 2002, with title "'ring buffer overflow' on a Netra AC200".
There seems he did not receive any answer.

I'm running Solaris 8 on the machine, and the LOM is connected to a
Cisco Remote Access Router. Since this Access Router is the only way for
me to take the machine back on when it crashes, what am I supposed to
do?
It's already the second time the machine crashes in only a few days. Is
there any way out?

Would playing with serial speed on both router and LOM resolve anything?
If so, how to do that with Solaris?

Thanks a lot.
