Hi Gurus,
I have installed Solaris 9 in the new Sun Fire V 240 Server. My problem is
that when I telnet to that server, the login prompt appears, I can login and
after 2 or 3 seconds the connection closes by itself. Even if I don't enter
login name, it will terminate connection in few seconds. After which I cant
telnet again, It says "connection refused on port 23". When I try telnet
again after some 15 mins, the login prompt appears and disappears in few
seconds.
But still I can ping the server and thru the serial console the server is up
and running.
I re-installed the OS and updated the patches as well, same prob.
What could be the problem?
Pls advice ASAP
