telnet problem with SFV 240

Hi Gurus,

I have installed Solaris 9 in the new Sun Fire V 240 Server. My problem is
that when I telnet to that server, the login prompt appears and after 2 or 3
seconds the connection closes by itself, even before I type the user name.
But still I can ping the server and thru the serial console the server is up
and running.

I re-installed the OS and updated the patches as well, same prob.

What could be the problem?

Pls advice ASAP
