Hi,
I have a sunfire 280R with Solaris 8 and VxVM 3.5 (modinfo showed VxVM
3.5s); the boot disks are mirrored; all filesystems are ufs
I applied the latest patches for VxVM and vxfs (that's all that I have
installed) and rebooted; after reboot it hangs when doing " VxVM
starting in boot mode..." and then it does nothing else.
I also tried boot -s but I got the same result ....
(I know I could try to boot from cdrom , disable VxVM & unencapsulate
boot disk - manually - and boot ... but then what ?? I just remove the
pathes applied ??)
Any ideas where to start looking to diagnose this error ??
regards
Dragos
