Resending with proper subject...

Hi guys, this is a time critical issue and
hence am posting on this board.
I have set up a serial connection from my
laptop( usb to serial ) to a Sun 280R. Everything appears to be fine when I
cold boot the system ( I get the usual output and hte ok prompt ) however,
whatever I type ('boot cdrom' or 'boot net' etc.) is not displayed on the
screen. The baud rate set is set to 9600, the data bit is set to 8, parity is
set to none and stop bits is set to 1The output from the sun server after the
cold boot is below:
----------------------
~
screen not found.
keyboard not

Keyboard not present. Using ttya for input and output.
