Memory upgrade problem on a V210 ?

Hello Sun Managers:

I ran into a problem when I tried to upgrade my V210
server with 512 MB (2x256MB) of memory to 4 GB of
memory (4 sticks of 1 GB DIMMS pn 370-6203)

The server failed to boot (failed POST) with a message
"memory is not compatible". (or something of that
sort)
on the console.

When I put the 2x256 MB stick back, the server came up
fine.

Does anybody know what is wrong?
Has anybody ran into this problem before?

The server is only 1 year old, and the memory is brand
new from Sun.
I noticed the current OBP is 4.8.2 (from prtdiag
output).
Sunsolve said something about the Fan upgrade kit and
the minimum OBP of 4.11.4, but the server should come
up.
I will summarize if there is enough interest

Thanks,
Tony
