I'll summarize.
Hi All,
I'm going to write a doc for my customer concerning UNIX User admin.
Concerns are about :
- should they have one UNIX user per human user
- how to deal with "generic/application centric" users
- root password and connection auth
- ...
My point of view in few words :
- one human / one user and same user Win32/UNIX
- No passwords (account locked or RBAC roles) for application centric
users
- No direct connect to root user except on console
- no rsh/rcp
- no ftp
I'm looking for some document references on these.
TIA
Nicolas
