Patchpro uses 80 respectively 443 (HTTP/HTTPS) for communication. But you
can easily use a proxy-server:
# /opt/SUNWppro/bin/pprosetup -h
[...]
-x Specifies the local web proxy server to use where host is
the host name and port is the port number
Any proxy server (for example squid) will do the job. So you don't have to
make all machines accessible to the internet.
