Hi,
I recently removed a Solstice DiskSuite software storage device and now
metastat gives me an error and dumps core. Also I cannot run smc. I
don't know of the two are
related.
~
Assertion failed: mdrcp->colnamep->start_blk <= rcp->un_orig_devstart, file ../common/meta_raid.c, line 151
metastat: Abort
Abort (core dumped)
if I do metastat <device> then it works OK.
bash-2.05# metainit -f d5 1 1 c0t0d0s6
Assertion failed: mdrcp->colnamep->start_blk <= rcp->un_orig_devstart, file ../common/meta_raid.c, line 151
metainit: Abort
Abort (core dumped)
Any ideas anyone? I need to make some storage devices for this semi-
production server...
If I try and run smc I get:-
bash-2.05# smc
Open Toolbox: http://st1.hq.eso.org:898/toolboxes/smc.tbx failed
Open Toolbox: http://st1.hq.eso.org:898/toolboxes/smc.tbx failed
It's a horrible thing but I thought I would give it a try to see if it
would shed some light on the SDS problem.
Regards,
Nick
