Hi All,
Call me crazy - But
Has anyone scripted a warm standby oracle "cluster" with two machines,
shared disks mirroed with disksiut and metasets to share the metadevices
?
say node1 up and running ora, node2 would need to monitor the node1 box
( maybe tnsping oracle on the node1 box - of not - see if ip up etc.) if
node1 box down - node2 box force take own of the metaset and mount disks
- start oracle.
?
