Hello,
We have a E4500 with 8 400MHz CPUs and 10GB Mem. Has JNI cards to see
Hitach array.
Runs Oracle. Supports web application.
What do you guys suggest to replace it with keeping in mind budget of 40K.
Ultra Sparc 3 CPUs will do. Any bad stories about new sunfire 1280? or
3800?
Also any issues with switching from SCSI JNI cards to PCI JNI cards.
Any issues with Veritas DBED 3.5 and new hardware?
