Sun gurus,

I need a bit of advice from you over the next several days. I have an
A1000 disk storage array (single controller) attached to an E4500. I
have Raid Manager 6.22.1 installed for configuration, performance and
diagnostic needs. I am about out of disk space on one of my filesystems
configured on LUN 2 (4 drives in a RAID 1 configuration). I have 4
spare disk drives, so I know (according to the Raid Manager user's
guide) that I need to delete and recreate LUN 2. I am going to recreate
it with 6 drives also in a RAID 1 configuration. I need to know from
those of you around the world who have done this as to what "gotchas" I
need to be aware of to keep me out of trouble. The process (according
to the user's guide) seems pretty straight forward in deleting and
recreating the LUN, but it is always best to pick up from someone else's
experience when you have never done this yourself. Many thanks! Paul
