Hello Gurus,
I have a RockPort 8 port serial card which
has 8 dongels of RJ-45. According to the manual of
RockPort these RJ-45 connectors are DTE. If anyone has
ever used this card then please help me with the
connecting digram from RJ-45 to FEMALE DB-25 sun
systems. I will be using Reflection X so I dont
require hardware flow control.
PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG.
DB-25 female serial connector on Sun 280R,880,480,420R
are DTE's. And also the RJ-45 connector on v440 is
DTE
Also what is the PIN diagram of RJ45 to DB-25 adaptor.
If we look at the side of outside RJ-45 there are 8
continues metal strips. If we look it inside where,
the wires come out and connect to DB-25, they are 4 on
top and 4 on bottom. I hope I made some sense in my
explanation.
