Hello Gurus,
We have to change a failed disk on the
StoEdge 3310. This disk is a part of Raid 1+0. Sun
said they will send a field engineer. We definitely
cannot take chance to get the system offline. If we
end up that the slot is bad and had to replace the
chassis we are planning it to defer replacement for
weeek.
1)Will I have better chances to use the bad disk and
replace it sometime later.
2) What is the risk assosicated with changing the
disk. Will it bring the array offline at any stage.
