Hi,

I've a funny problem. When I do a ls -lat on one of
the directory as shown below, the first line of the ls
should show ../ but I did not get ../, it is blank.

# ls -lat
drwxr-x--- 3 root other 96 Oct 5 13:55
drwxr-x--- 2 dba dba 1024 Sep 6 13:30
local
-rw-r----- 1 dsb dba 609 Sep 2 15:13
local.profile_2

I have verified on other directories and it should
behave like following.

# ls -lat
drwxrwxrwx 393 root other 10240 Oct 6 14:44
../
drwxrwxrwx 20 234 staff 1536 Oct 6 14:37
data_log

I would like to find out from you guys have anyone
encounter this before and what could have caused the
problem that ../ is not display on the ls.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
tim
