Solaris 8 / Serial installation Summary
Thanks to all that replied.
I had a couple different types of solutions presented. The overwhelming
one was: Trash the Install disk, use Disk 1 of 2. I did this and it
worked like a charm.
A second solution was presented by Christopher Wrigglesworth. He
suggested, after a trouble ticket to sun, Having spoken to SUN I was
told I needed to have OBP version 4.11.4 and Solaris 07/03. I'm
installing from DVD but so far have had no problem.
I want to thank everyone that has helped me with this issue! And,
special thanks to Andy Yother, Nathan Dietsch, Andy Paton, Christopher
McNabb, and Scott Cooper.
