I am about to do an upgrade from Solaris 8 to Solaris 9.....my first
upgrade.

Looking at the documentation it looks like I will be prompted "for which
file systems should be used for auto-layout".
Would this just be filesystems like / , /var , /usr or would this include
other filesystems like /export/home

Here is what a df shows on my system

Filesystem kbytes used avail capacity Mounted on
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 2052750 1543975 447193 78% /
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s4 4127894 2810563 1276053 69% /usr
/proc 0 0 0 0% /proc
fd 0 0 0 0% /dev/fd
mnttab 0 0 0 0% /etc/mnttab
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s1 673742 246880 366226 41% /var
swap 705440 16 705424 1% /var/run
swap 705808 384 705424 1% /tmp
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s5 3095966 808765 2225282 27% /sefas
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s6 9096708 6228113 2777628 70% /export/home
/vol/dev/dsk/c0t2d0/sol_8_401_doc
                      238040 238040 0 100% /cdrom/sol_8_401_doc

If I do not use auto re-layout the documentation says I "must provide
information for file system configuration"
What information is that?
