Hello everyone,
I'm a new Sun/Unix user so please forgive me for the lack of knowledge on
this issue. Anyway here's my situation.
- I recently purchased a Sun Ultra 10 Workstation and Sun/Sony 19"
Monitor
- The system has the Creator 3d Video Card that has a special 13w3
connection
- The monitor has a standard SVGA connection
- I've been using the onboard video for some time now just fine
- I would like to use/try the Creator 3d video so I bought what I
thought was the correct adapter
- When I plug the monitor into the adapter and then into the
Creator 3d card I can get the computer to boot and the monitor power light
is green but I don't have any output on the screen.
So my questions are:
- Did I buy the wrong adapter?
- Is there an output setting I need to make?
- Should I can the idea and purchase a better UPA graphics card?
Thanks for any help.
