Hello,
We have auditors here right now and they've been giving us a hard time
over a couple of minor things, which I'm sure are Solaris 8 defaults.
For starters they don't like the tty group:
tty::7:root,tty,adm
as there isn't a tty user in /etc/passwd. I see the same thing on all my
Sol8 machines. They're also complaining about the staff and sysadm
groups which have no members. I don't see this as a problem myself.
Anyway, are there any concerns over these items, and will I break
anything by removing these two groups and the tty user entry from the
tty groups?
Thanks in advance,
Rich
