I have Solaris 7 release 11/99 on a Netra T1-100.

This server as been reinstall recently because of a weird problem that seems
to come from the NIC interface.

Reinstall seems to have solve the problem for 2 months, but now I am getting
strange Samba errors in syslogs :

inetd[130]: netbios-ns/udp server failing (looping), service terminated

Samba is no longer working and no one have log on the server.

I am looking on using SunVTS to scan/test hardware to see if anything is
wrong on this side.

I have install SunVTS 3.4.

Because this server have no screen attached I was trying to use SunVTS is
TTY mode.

So I start SunVTS
cd /opt/SUNWvts/bin
./sunvts -t

... and nothing, it does nothing and uses no CPU.

The man page doesn't look helpful

Does anyone know how to make this thing works ?

- Francois
