Hi all,
I noticed that using FTP's mget command with more that 19 argument
(files) will crash FTP client after accessing the 19th agument,
it has nothing to do with argument length.
Example:
ftp some_host
[snip]
prompt
Interactive mode off.
mget 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20
Ignoring additional arguments
[snip]
---> NLST 19
---> PORT 10,0,0,171,128,108
---> NLST /export/home/te
---> PORT 10,0,0,171,128,109
Segmentation Fault (core dumped)
Solaris version:
SunOS blade1 5.8 Generic_108528-13 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Blade-100
Anyone found similar behavior? Is this patched? This happens whether
these files exists or not. This was tested with Solaris and OpenBSD FTP
servers. And I couldn't reproduce this on Solaris 9.
I applied patch 108899-04 but a) doesn't relate to this b) doesn't solve
my problem.
Any help or pointers?
