/usr/platform/sun4m/lib/libc_psr.so.1 missing -- problem?

I've been troubleshooting problems running SAS on a Sparcstation 5, and
was comparing things with an Ultra1 we have (both are running Solaris
7). I noticed that there was no /usr/platform/sun4m/lib/libc_psr.so.1
on the Sparc5. What is this library and is it necessary?
