Hi,
I needed some help locating serial number for one of
the system boards for SUNFIRE V1280( specifically
SB2).
After powering off the server and raising the SB2
board half way till it was help in place by
anti-gravity lock, I could see a 13 digit number( out
of which 1 was an alphabet) just above a label called
"Assembled in Malaysia"
I just wanted to know is this is the serial number
and if normally this is the location and length for
serial number. I am not finding any other serial
number on the system board and the manuals for V1280
dont indicate it either.
