DiskSuite "moveable disk" feature ???

At some point somewhere along the way in DiskSuite's development,
it seems to have gained a feature wherein it can track specific
physical disk spindle movement between array slots, and still
piece together the original LUN just fine. This appears to work
well in Solaris 9, but I am wondering if the DiskSuite included
with Solaris 8 2/04 might also have this feature.

Can anyone definitively tell me at what point this feature
came into existence in DiskSuite? Would Solaris 8 2/04 have
this feature?
