CPU panic on Ultra 10

Hi Gurus,

I have an Ultra 10 at home that I am getting a CPU panic on boot. the
spec is as follows:

440MHz UltraSPARC IIi CPU
512MB 50ns memory kit ( 2 x 256MB)
2 x 9.1GB Seagate hard disks
CDROM (standard one that comes with U10s)
OBP version 3.19

I am trying to install Solaris 9 04/04 on it. Everything goes fine - it
boots from CDROM at the beginning from the OBP, sets things up, then the
system reboots from the hard disk after the install CDROM has finished
copying the mini-root over, then the first and second software disks
install absolutely fine, then the system wants to reboot at the end of
the second software disk installation...

and the system flashes up a big error message immediately after the OBP
and then reboots and continues to cycle through - error message -
reboot...

The error message is not on the screen long enough to copy down all of
the information (looks like the contents of a register or something - a
lot of hex code, etc) but I can make out the words "CPU Panic - lost
thread" or something.

I've tried using a different CPU (a 333MHz) and I get exactly the same
results.

I've tried using different memory (a 128MB kit = 2 x 64MB sticks) and
got exactly the same results.

I have removed all the PCI cards from the machine (there was a QFE card
and a PGX Framebuffer card installed) and I get exactly the same
results.

I have also tried this with different hard disks (a pair of 15GB hard
disks) and I get exactly the same results.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this, and how I would go
about fixing this problem? I kind of need this machine to work! :)

Ben
