OpenSSH on Solaris 8

I'm trying to get OpenSSH working on a Soalris 8 machine. I've downloaded
the requisite packages from SunFreeware, and I'm reading through the
install instructions that are linked to from there.

I;ve got 2 problems with what is there.

1. There is a link to a site that talks about how to do this without
rebooting, but it seems to be a bad link:

http://www.sunmanagers.org/pipermail/summaries/2002-April/002956.html
(I typed that in so if there's a typo, it's mine, but I hit the link on the
page, and got a bad link).

2. Refference is made to a randome patch 112438-01 bit when I try to get
that from the Sun site, it tells me it is avaulable only to contract
customers.

On earlier versions of Solaris there was a prngd package that generated
random nimberes. Is there something I cna do to get this working WO a
support contract?

Thanks for any help on this.
