I've done this a while agao with older versions of the packages, but today
I'm having trouble making OpenSSH work on a Solaris 5.5.1 machine.
I downloaded the following from SunFreeware:
egd-0.8-sol25-sparc-local.gz
libgcc-3.3-sol25-sparc-local.gz
openssh-3.8.1p1-sol25-sparc-local.gz
openssl_noshared-0.9.6c-sol25-sparc-local.gz
perl_s-5.8.3-sol25-sparc-local.gz
prngd-0.9.25-sol25-sparc-local.gz
zlib-1.2.1-sol25-sparc-local.gz
And used pkgadd to install all of the. That went OK. But, when I try to run
ssh, I get:
ld.so.1: ssh: fatal: libcrypto.so.0.9.7: open failed: No such file or
directory
Now, whats strange is that there is a /usr/local/lib/libcrypto.a, but no
evidence of a shared library by that name.
Did I miss a prerequisite?
