Fatal SCSI error at script address 8 illegal instruction
I cannot see the card and am getting the above error on a 280R running 2.8.
I have already tried the following...
- Made sure the bus is properly terminated with the right kind of terminator
and only once at the end of the chain.
- Made sure no devices have duplicate addresses.
- Checked visually for bent or broken pins on the cables.
- Reseated the scsi card in the backplane.
- Removed all devices from the chain and done probe-scsi - this fails with
the error.
Do I have a bad card?
