Hi

I tried to format the IDE disk (model:ST380011A , Sun part No.370-5522-01) in the SUN blade 1500 workstation , it gives the error message as ,

foramt> cannot format this disk,PLease use your manufacturer supplied formatting utility.

pls. let me know why this error message is comming or how to format this disk ? earlier such message i have not seen on other sun systems.
