When doing an ifconfig -a
The IP address is missing from the inet field. I typed (IPADDRESS IS
MISSING) below:
bge0: flags=1000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 1500 index 2
inet (IPADDRESS IS MISSING) netmask fffffe00 broadcast
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
ether 0:4:ba:6e:ae:95
Other than a bad nic card, what could cause this?
