Hi All,

Hope you will help me to get the solution for the problem
I'm currently landed up. I 'm getting the following error message when I
have tried to boot the Sun Fire V420R having 2 disks.

Fatal SCSI error at script address 8 Illegal instruction.

If I boot either from CD or network, it warns me saying

            WARNING: /pci@1f,4000/scsi@3 (glm0):

I can understand that it's due to one of the disks has got
damaged. I have located the problematic one, is there any way I can get
the contents from the bad one or can I get it repaired by some other
means?

 Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards

saran
