I have an Ultra 10 workstation running Solaris 9. After installing the latest recommended patches (downloaded 6/10) I am
experiencing problems using the @ sign and delete key. This appears to only happen in terminal windows on this machine in CDE.
Please note: User profiles are stored on a remote server.
On to the problems:
Anytime I try to use the @ sign it clears the line of text I just typed and when I use the a delete key it now does a 'control ?
carriage return'.
I have tried the following:
Thinking it is a CDE profile issue, I logged different workstation (that shares the same user profiles) and have found everything
works correctly.
I have sshed into other servers that would also share the same user profile and all works correctly.
I have sshed back in to the troublesome workstation and all works correctly.
What is happening, how do I further trouble shoot the problem, and how do I correct these key mappings?
Thanks for any help
Dave
