Summary: Terrible network performance between two machines on sam e network

Very fast responses from a lot of people. Simple answer.. hub= half duplex
switch=full. Made the changes and its flying.

If it is really a hub, then they should be set to half-duplex. If it is a
switch, then make sure the switch ports are locked down to 100Mb/full as
well.
