I am looking for the best way to clean up processes -- short of rebooting
the servers.
The servers in question are sunray servers. I posted to this group because
I think the general question
is not restricted to just sunray servers. As the uptime of the server grows,
the number of orphaned processes owned by users grows. Of course, as a busy
sysadmin, I am asking for the bandaide. The real question, for sun
engineers, is why are these processes hanging around.
