solstice disc suite: unmirroring the discs

Hi all,

I have inherited a machine, a Netra with two internal discs, which has all
partitions mirrored/stripes across the two discs including the root
partition.

I want to upgrade the discs to a greater capacity. I would also like to
break the mirrors and return to a non-Discsuite set-up. Has anyone done
this afore?
