Hello gurus,
Having Apache 1.3.26 installed in solaris 8.
For past few days I am seeing in error_log "URI too long"
and the access_log shows "Search/..." and all special characters
which runs to pages.
Some times the service of apache is halted also.
when I searched in Google found that it is a sort of buffer overflow
attack..
Have anybody come across such thing.Can I get a solution of protecting
the apache server from such attacks.
