Hi,

On one of our Solaris 7 box, my colleague did "unlink /etc/hosts".
I restored back the soft link by :
      cd /etc
      ln -s ./inet/hosts hosts
chown root:root hosts (as root:root was the original setting)
However, ls -l /etc/hosts
showed the ownership of this softlink is still root:other while
the underlying actual file /etc/inet/hosts ownership changes
from root:sys to root:root instead.

Original setting was :
      /etc/hosts : root:root
      /etc/inet/hosts : root:sys
