Hi all again .....

I can now access the server via ssh with passwordless entry as a "normal" user ..... There are too many to thank, but most of you re-iterated what I said, that you set the key pair with NO passphrase.

So, it works for a normal user ..... NOW .... Second problem.

I did the EXACT same procedure for root, and it's doesn't seem to be working. It is asking me for the root password on the server I am trying to ssh too, and even though I know I am typing the right password, it's not letting me in. Not that I want to put the password in, cause I am after passwordless entry.

What needs to be done differently for passwordless entry to work for root ? Like I said I am doing exactly the same for root as I did for a normal user and it's not working ....

Thanks in advance again .....
Tis
