Hello managers,
we have sun blade 1500 with XVR-500 graphics card
running on solaris 8 with fully patched. we have
installed coventorware2004 for MEMS and it is working
fine with 2D images. For 3D images if I open a window
on top of the 3D image, the image will be blackened
and again i have to give refresh to get back the
image, also if i try enlarge/reduce the image the
workspace will be blackened and i have to give
refresh. I have installed all patches for graphics
card as well as for the coventorware, still problem
exists, I replaced the grapics card still problem
exists.
Java3D demos is working fine without any problem but
iam able to see little flicker(mill seconds) when i
drag the window terminal to enlarge/reduce the size of
the 3D image using the mouse cursor.
Any performance tool or bench mark tool to measure
grapics card performance or the above problem is
something to do with coventor since java3D is working
fine. Any one come across with similar problem pls
suggest me, sun is also trying out for solution from
past two weeks.
I have reinstalled the system to check any system file
corruption, still problem exists.
