Hi,
We are considering implementing the following SAN configuration, just
wondering if anyone out there has actually got something like this in use
and working, the vendors seems a bit reluctant to guarantee if it will
work.
Solaris 9 with Sun SAN driver stack, MPXIO using failover and load
balancing
SUN badged JNI HBAs
Brocade 3800 switches
Hitachi 9570 disk array
Our main concern is with MPXIO feature working properly, Sun only certify
against the HDS array models they resell, so won't give any guarantees
apart from "it should work".
If anyone has something like this working, it would be great to hear from
you
