upgrade question

Hi SUN Managers,
 
I have a question about upgrading Solaris.
I want to upgrade a system that is running Solaris 2.6.
Root disks are mirrored with DiskSuite & the data disks are managed by
Volume Manager 2.5.
I only need to upgrade the O.S. (although the rest could also use an
upgrade :) ).
Does anybody know which steps I should take? Does anybody know if this
procedure is somewhere described in an technote or white paper?
