metadata problems: more info

Great thanks to Peter Bauer for helping me fix the metadata problem, I
needed to create more copies onto more disks by using metadb -a. However,
now I think I have found the source of the problem, which is one of the
disks appears to have died. The indicator light is off for one of the
drives in one of the RAID 5 sets. When I replace the drive with another
one, the light comes on, so I assume the drive has died. I would assume
that this is normally a case for 'metareplace' to replace the bad disk, but
metastat doesn't really give me much infomation about the problem. It
mearly states that d7 is a concatenation of two raid 5 arrays, which is
true, but it doesn't report any problems, even when I remove the disk for
the system. Does anyone have any good ideas on where to start to replace
this drive? I have recent backups, but would rather not recreate the whole
thing, as it takes a while :) Thanks for any help!!

Regards,
Ryan
