Hello sunmanagers
i have a problem with a brandnew V240. Machine arrived today. Happily
unpacking the stuff and than trying to do an install. If the machine powers
up i get a screen using minicom from a linux machine and the preinstall is
booting. But i will never be able to input evreything. Also i'm not able to
send a break to the machine. Powered down used a sun usb keyboard also no
success. It tells me keyboard present but i'm not able to use it. Than i
used hyperterm windows same result. We had several machines like that to
install, but this machine has one difference it has an XVR-100 Graphics
card and an additional Antares SCSI-card.
The graphics port i can't use as i assume the resolution isn't compatible
to the PC-Stuff monitors i'm using here (the delivered paper documentation
doesn't say anything about the default values of this card).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
