patching question

Hi -

I am looking for advice as to the safest way to fix
a partially installed patch (109134-29). For details
see the patch log below.

(The reason this patch failed to install completely is that
we had /var/sadm as a link and this was removed during the
middle of this patch installation.)

I think the safest action for us would be to ask patchadd
to do the installation of 109134-29 again. But it won't
as invoking showrev -p will yield that 109134-29 has already
been installed. I don't see a flag for patchadd that says to try
to install the patch as ususal even though you think it is
already installed. It seems to me that patchadd -u may be
too strong ie too "unconditional".

Another possibility is to remove the patch and then do the
install again. My question here is whether the patchrm
will fail because the patch was not completely installed?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Paul
