  Hi all,

Thanks to Mike and Tony Walsh for replying.

I found the answer finally!

I needed to set up the modem with the following commands:

AT&F0, AT\T7, AT&R2, AT&C1, ATE0 AT%K1, ATQ1, AT&W0 and AT&Y

and you need to build the DB25/RJ45 cable as per the sun documentation
817-1960-10 and then use a NULL modem converter on the DB25 pinout to
the modem before it will work.
