3rd party memory in a V880

Hello -

To save some $$ we're looking at using 3rd party memory in a SunFire V880.
I've never managed a system with 3rd party memory so was wondering if anyone
had any comments about this (other than sales folks, of course .. please
don't consider this a request for information). I realize that the memory
wouldn't be covered by a Sun warranty or maintenance contract.

We're considering Kingston, so specifics about that would be helpful.

Thanks in advance for any information,
Debbie
